When Tacos first became popular in Mexico, they were served in the silver mines. At the time, they were thin sheets of paper wrapped in gunpowder. Talk about spicy!

Steak-frites, meaning "steak [and] fries" in French, is a very common and popular dish served in brasseries throughout Europe consisting of steak paired with French fries. It is considered by some to be the national dish of Belgium, which claims to be the place of its invention.
Aanlokkelijk translates to “tempting” from Dutch, the most spoken language in Belgium.

Enchiladas originated in Mexico, where the practice of rolling tortillas around other food dates back at least to Mayan times. The people living in the lake region of the Valley of Mexico traditionally ate corn tortillas folded or rolled around small fish.
Delicioso translates to “Delicious” from Spanish.
We are very excited to highlight Native Flora as our May, Winery of the Month! We have been enjoying their gorgeous wines for many years. Native Flora is a wonderful example of the amazing wines and talent we have in the Dundee Hills. We will be pouring by the glass the 2017 Ruby Primo and the 2014 Next Time, Pinot Noir.

2017 Ruby Primo - “It's not a true Rosé - it's a Clairet/Village Rouge hybrid. It's half savory/half fruit on the nose, and scrumptious on the palate. It's not a serious wine for collectors, but it's an awesome sunny day, fun, snarky wine for friends”.
"Just coming of age, the 2014 Next Time heralds from Native Flora's high altitude, north facing site. It is a blend of 7 estate pinot noir clones showing the dark cherry, cinnamon, cedar, forest floor and brown spice notes for which their wines are renowned."

Delicious! This weeks locals night we have fresh Burrata, with wood fired asparagus, cherry tomatoes, and crushed hazelnuts with Saba drizzle. Pair it with our Happy Hour prices all night long and you just cant lose!
Fun Fact: Burrata was probably first made around 1920, but may have origins dating back to about 1900 on the Bianchini farm in the city of Andria within Murgia.
We are thrilled to have Esther Glen Farm & Winery as our April winery of the the month! This family run business focuses on holistic farming practices. Ryan Pickens, winemaker and partner says “With our wines, our focus is to have them showcase a location, a moment in time, and the people involved”. We love their approach and gorgeous wines and can’t wait to share them with you! They will be available by glass pour all month and Friday, April 12th they will be onsite doing a tasting from 4p-7p, of course with a yummy pairing from out kitchen.
We are excited to have Mad Violets Wine Co. here all during March! We’re pouring the 2017 Pinot Noir by the glass all month long. Sterling Fox will be here on Friday, March 8 from 4-8pm pouring through a few of his other wines for you while the kitchen makes up a tasty snack of squash fries with chili aioli.
